II. ### 8.3 - v8.3 - Small fixes: - I noticed that after battles, ally states were carrying over (like HP recovery, poison, or armor). - Fixed now. - Bruiser & Maki scene: there was a small bug that prevented Grimm’s avatar from showing in one line of dialogue. - Fixed now. ### 8.1 - v8.1 - Corrected the Name "Gustav" instead of the player name in dialogue appears in Ep 3 - Ep5 - Black Screen when the Ep ends - Ep5 - Name Gustav again is corrected to the Player name. - Ep6 - Rokka Party Option of escene selection Visual corrected. - Ep6 - SlimeWarrior!? Dialogue (text and dialogue box fixed) - Ep7 - SlimeWarrior name is corrected now - Ep7 - Maximus missing sound - Fixed ### 8.0 - v8.0 - BATTLES ⚔ - The work on battles paid off this month with new characters to fight. I want to explain how the new game content is organized in this version: - In the episode menu, episode 8 is now available. - Within the episode menu, you can also find a space where you can simply go directly to the new battle and the updated Grimm battle for test that new content! - Available character selection: - You can select two characters in your battle. The enemies are simple, as I didn't focus on balancing the battle. I wanted you to try out each character's new effects, abilities, and costs. - You can still find the story in episode 8. I still need to polish things up, but the idea is there. - I'm currently summarizing the story, as during the first 15 days I focused on organizing a team of fighters for the game's new battles. - Now that I have more defined gameplay with selectable battles, it will be faster to continue with the other battles, since I only need to create the new enemies! - New Art in the end of the update: - At the end of the update I also added some extra images as game progress. - Updates Aside from Episode 8 - Ep6 - - New scene at the beginning of the Rakshasa nightmare. (very short) - Part of the Brock and Vira sequence has been added to the NSFW sequences section of the rewards gallery. - This month I had to learn a lot about how to create battles, this really helped me to make the Grimm battle have slight improvements as well. ### 7.7 - v7.7 - The latest version of The Forest Legends! - Each new version will be available for download and play! ### 7.5 - v7.5 - N/A ### 7.3 - v7.3 - EPISODE 7 - The script and all the scenes I showed you in the video are now complete. - Notes: I noticed a few details when I saw the final version (visual details in sprites and general art). I'll fix them in the next few days; these aren't bugs.) - Please watch the new episode and let me know if it's going well. I'm trying to resolve the story while also needing it to look good. - Fixes: - EP 1 - Did a Save Slot for the Grimm scenes and battle (if you wants check that) - EP 5 - Grimm Nsfw escene work correctly now. ### 7.3 - v7.3 - The scenes I worked on are already integrated into the game (Episode 7), so you can see how the results turned out. - The episode doesn't have the script yet (except for the first part.), as I spent the entire month making new images, as well as I am dedicating myself entirely to programming now. - I'll be working on the script the first week of April to integrate it and share the completed new scenes in new posts. - This month has been quite fruitful in terms of visual content, such as sprites, backgrounds, and the special illustrations for the new episode - :) - I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, because now we have a new challenge.
